First Day of School and Camping over Labor Day

Well, this has been a busy week. On Tuesday it was Jacob's birthday. So we all woke up early so Jacob could open up his presents and then John could go to work. Jacob got a pocket knife and a model airplane.

Then it was Joshua's first day of Kindergarten. He was so excited. It was fun getting ready for school. Then once he got to school and was standing in line ready to go in with his teacher, you could see the apprehension on his face. It was kind of sad for me to see my 2nd child leave for Kindergarten. He came home from school and had a great day! He loves Kindergarten because he likes to sit. He is already so excited to read.

Then this weekend we went up to John's parents house for a campout. It was us and his parents and Jackie and her kids. We met Jackie's new friend Preston. we had a great time. We had fried chicken and potatoe salad for dinner. The kids loved cooking smore's over the fire. The kids and John and Grandma slept out under the starts. Wyatt and I slept in the house. Then on Saturday we all went geo-caching. We found two geo-caches. It was pretty fun. The kids played in the sand box almost the whole time. They loved it. We all came home very dirty and tired. We hada great time!
