Happy Halloween!!!!!

Well, today isn't officially Halloween, but our neighborhood trick or treated today because tomorrow is Sunday. So the day was a pretty good day. I didn't know if i was going to like having the kids home all day on Halloween without school to keep them busy. I thought they might be really excited to go trick or treating, but we carved pumpkins and watched a show and that seemed to help. We had scones and chili for dinner to fill everyone up really good so they wouldn't eat as much candy. Then we were off . . . Everyone has their different times the can stay out. Wyatt did one street, Joshua made it through two steets and Abigail and Jacob are the die hards and went four streets. It was a lot of fun and the rain held off and only sprinkled a little bit. Yah. So here are pictures of the kids Halloween costumes. I told the kids we were not buying anymore costumes because we have so many. So Jacob and Joshua created theirs from the stuff we already had.

Jacob was a dementor from Harry Potter.

Joshua was a cowboy.

Abigail was a witch

and Wyatt was Elmo, (his favorite person in the world)

Here is a picture of the kids sorting through the loot . . .

What darling little spooks! They are all so cute and I remember well how much fun it was to come home and dump out all the candy and separate it in to categories! Such fun! Thanks for sharing!
