Joshua's Baptism

Well, this weekend Joshua got baptized!!! I can't believe I have two children old enough to be baptized. This is amazing. My children are growing faster than I can keep up with them.

This weekend was kind of a crazy weekend. My Mom and sister Sharolee came on Thursday afternoon. Wyatt woke up from his nap with a fever. Thursday night Wyatt didn't sleep very good and his fever rose to 105. So Friday morning I took him over to the doctor and our regular doctor wasn't in so I saw a different one. She freaked out when she saw his tonsils. She had another doctor come and look at them. They were not sure what he has. They tested for strep and flu and he didn't have either of those, so she said it was either mono or acute tonsilites. I was hoping for the tonsilitise. So we came home from the doctor and my mom and I had planned on going shopping but now we wouldn't be able to with Wyatt so sick. So John came home from work to watch Wyatt so we could shop. Thank you John, you are so awesome!!! My mom, Sharolee and I had a great time shopping and eating.

Then that night Wyatt's fever was high again. So on Saturday for Joshua's baptism a few of the Aunts and Uncles were too scared to come so they stayed home. We are thankful for the ones that did come and support Joshua. He had a great baptism day. The spirit was there so strongly and he was happy. It was a great day. We had Hawaiin Haystacks for the luncheon afterward as that is Joshua's most favorite dinner ever. It was a good day.

Wyatt's fever broke that afternoon and so far he has been fever free. I am pretty sure he was just having tonsilites. Hopefully his tonsils will go back down soon.

Congratulations Joshua!! It is so hard to beleive you have two kids baptized; before you know it, it will be Abigail's turn! He is such a great young man!!

Glad you had family there to support you and Joshua. Sorry about poor Wyatt. So glad he is fever free---hope it stays that way. We missed him in the nursery lots!

Sickness never comes at a convenient time does it? We are always rearranging our schedules to hang out at home with a sick one. Glad he is feeling better.

Look how big Joshua is. What a cute young man. I'm glad he had a good day.

What a special day for Joshua! Getting baptized is so much fun for kiddos. I am sorry to hear about Wyatt and some family members not coming because of it.

Thanks again for the coupons!
