I am so grateful to everyone who came to help. I think we have had upwards of 25 people here helping to get the tree cleaned up. Many hands really do make the workload lighter. Thank you all so much.
Now all we have left to do is to move the big pieces of wood to the backyard to dry so the scouts can use it.
Here is a pic of my house now that the beautiful tree is gone. . .

Oh, I am so sorry for the loss! One summer it rained and blew so hard, that one of our quakies blew over. It was one of our biggest. The roots are not deep and we just hurried and dug a hole to re-root it and then put in fence posts so we could secure it. After a couple of years, it seems to be just fine. I am sorry there was no solution such as this for your beautiful tree. How nice to have such good friends and neighbors. Hey, I didn't know John had started his own business. That is awesome! John's Mom had never said anything to me about it, despite the fact I spend time in her hair chair! Congratulations and good luck!
I am really sorry about your tree! I am so glad that you had your nephew's truck to use to get the rest of the tree down though. Thank you so much for all of your help with my tree, especially when you had your own tree to take care of. You are the best!!!
